Nanosocieties was initiated in collaboration with nano scientist Jonas Hannestad in 2014. It is an exploration of the (micro)scopic, architectural, economic and human landscapes of science laboratories, connecting molecules to larger societal structures. Welcome, Passerby (2008-2010) and String of Pearls (2010-2014) are part of a long-term investigation into the impact and visual traces of global capital flows. They focus on small communities undergoing great changes; one appears to be approaching the end of its history, the other is in a process of rapid transformation.

Intrapartum was carried out at the National Maternity Hospital, Dublin, between February 2007 and May 2007. It offers an insight into 24 hours in the delivery ward and explores the components that parents to be have come to rely on in modern hospitals; The delivery room with the technical equipment and the vastly skilled, professionally trained midwife.
